My name is David Lewis, and welcome to my travel blog. I am an economist and linguist by trade, as well as a traveller by passion. I have set up this blog in order to not only document my personal memories and experiences from travelling, but also hopefully so as to aid other travellers with bits of information and tips on places that I have been to over the years.

At the time of publication, I have visited every country in Europe, apart from Russia and the Ukraine for obvious reasons, and 59 countries in total across five of the world's six continents.

I am also in the process of planning a trip later this year to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
